1987 - 1991 Studied music (saxophone) at Dr. Hoch‘s Konservatorium, Frankfurt am Main;
qualified as music teacher

1991 - 1993 Continued studies abroad in Bordeaux (France) with Jean-Marie Londeix 

June 1992 Gained gold medal (solo saxophone) and „vermeil“ (second medal)  in chamber music (saxophone quartet) at Bordeaux Conservatoire

June 1993 Gained „Honorary Prize of Bordeaux“ in solo saxophone competition and 
gold medal in chamber music (saxophone quartet) at Bordeaux Conservatoire

1993 - 1995 Returned to Frankfurt/Main, Germany to complete studies at Musikhochschule; 
gaining diploma in instrumental tuition
